Anne Robinson to divorce

Anne Robinson, the presenter of hit quiz how the Weakest Link is saying "goodbye" to her husband.

She is to divorce John Penrose after 27 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences for the breakdown of their relationship.
It is thought that work commitments led the couple to form lives independent of each other, with Robinson working in London and New York, while Penrose runs his business in the Cotswolds.
Robinson said: "We have been an enormous part of each other's lives for a very long time and our friendship will carry on forever."
They met working at a news agency as journalists and married in 1980.
A spokesman for the couple said: "There is no one else involved. There is no acrimony and Anne and John have reached an amicable settlement on all financial issues."
The pair have no children together, but Robinson has a daughter with Charles Wilson, the former editor of the Times.
