Blondes turn men stupid

For decades blondes have been associated with being dumb, but a new study has shown that it is men who turn silly when confronted by a stunning blonde.

Men were found to have an impaired mental performance after spending time around blonde women.
But it may not be because they are bowled over by these women, and in fact an attempt on the part of the man to get on the same level as women they perceive as being intellectually lacking.
This evidence of a blonde moment on the part of men demonstrates the effect of stereotypes, as men incorrectly judge women as being stupid simply because of their hair colour.
Professor Thierry Meyer, co-author of the study by Nanterre University in France, said: "It proves that people confronted with stereotypes generally behave in line with them.
"Blondes have the potential to make people act in a dumber way, because they mimic the unconscious stereotype of the dumb blonde."
