Brunettes 'richer and luckier in love'

Blondes may have more fun, but brunettes have bigger bank balances, according to a new report.

Research showed that on average dark-haired women earn £4,250 more a year than their light-haired counterparts.
Not only are they richer, but they are luckier in love, according to the survey of more than 3,000 women.
Of women who had dyed their hair, more women said they were more popular with the opposite sex when they were brunettes than when they were blondes.
One in five dark-haired women have had five or more long-term relationships, compared to 13 per cent of blondes.
Commenting on the findings, study commissioner Camila Lobo-Guerrero, of hair colour company Schwarzkopf & Henkel, said that the stereotype that blondes have more fun has well and truly been dismissed because the research showed brunettes are richer and have more luck with men.
She said: "Our research shows that blondes still do have more fun but aren't taken as seriously as women with darker hair - both at work and play.
'Brunettes are climbing the career ladder quicker as well as having better luck in love which may explain why stars like Catherine Zeta- Jones, Kelly Brook, Kate Beckinsale and Eva Longoria are so successful."
