Gareth Gates getting hitched

Pop Idol star Gareth Gates is to wed his long-time girlfriend.

The 23-year-old, who scored four number ones after coming second in the first series of the talent contest, proposed to Suzanne Mole on New Year's Eve.
The pair have been dating for five years and live together in a three-bedroom apartment in south-west London.
Gates said: "After a great Christmas, I proposed to Suzanne on New Year's Eve and she said yes.
"We are both extremely happy and look forward to planning our wedding and life together."
Gates met Suzanne, who is from Newcastle, at the Record of the Year awards in 2002, not long after his appearance on Pop Idol.
The Spirit in the Sky singer has previously said having lots of children and a big house are his main priorities.
He is said to be returning to his reality TV roots with an appearance on ITV's Dancing on Ice later this month.
