Reese stays positive in 'constant battle' as a sin

Hollywood star Reese Witherspoon is not letting the many challenges of being a single mother to two young children get her down.

The 31-year old actress, who split from ex-husband and the children's father Ryan Phillippe in October 2006, has revealed that she is struggling to successfully balance her family responsibilities with her day-job of being a movie star.
"Like every working parent, I sometimes feel that there are not enough hours in the day," she told Marie Claire magazine.
"But overall, I'm very fortunate that my job has a lot of flexibility. I spend a lot of time with the kids, just around the house. They're still pretty young, so I feel like what I can mostly do is listen to them and be there for them."
She added that her own parents have given her the inspiration to be able to pursue her acting dreams while being a full-time mother to Ava Elizabeth, eight, and four-year old Deacon Phillippe.
Towards the end of last year, Reese brought to an end constant media speculation that she was dating Rendition co-star Jake Gyllenhaal, saying the rumours were totally 'made up'.
