Star-crossword lovers

Aric Egmont wanted to propose to his girlfriend Jenny Bass in an original way that they could remember always and he opted to do it if the form of a crossword.
But this was not a puzzle he simply penned at home. Aric contacted the Boston Globe Sunday music magazine to get them involved, reports CNews

The magazine printed a crossword dedicated to the couple, with a number of clues about the pair and their lives.
Jenny assumed it was just a coincidence when her best friend and her sister's names came up, but it wasn't until a more obvious clue that she twigged.
This was the clue which read "Generic proposal" (Jen Aric). The couple figured out the answer, which was "Will you marry me?"
Aric told the Globe: "We get to the 'Will you marry me?' clue and I said 'Will you marry me, Jenny?' I got up, got the ring and got down on one knee and she screamed and hugged me. It took her a minute to say yes."
