Witherspoon and Gyllenhaal make it official

After months of speculation, two of Hollywood's brightest stars have stepped out as an official couple.
Reese Witherspoon, of Legally Blonde and Walk the Line fame, has come clean about her romance with Jake Gyllenhall who is five years her junior

The pair were linked some months ago, having been spotted on several secret dates, although it is reported that Reese called things off to spend more time with her family.
She has recently finalised her divorce from Ryan Philippe with whom she has two children.
Reese said: "I have known Jake for years through different friends and he is just wonderful. He is very kind, generous and funny."
And she is certainly the one wearing the trousers in her new relationship. She recently explained to Elle magazine how the person least interested in the relationship is always going to dominate as they will not be prepared to compromise.
