Women 'unhappy' with gifts from their men

They say never look a gift horse in the mouth, but British women are finding they are just not satisfied with the presents their men give them.

Around 72 per cent of women said they were unhappy with the last gift their boyfriend or husband got them for their birthday, anniversary, Valentine's Day or Christmas.
Women feel that their men are not spending time thinking about what to buy their loved ones, with one in five men forgetting to buy anything for the women in their lives.
Despite the bad feeling among the women, the survey from baduncle.com revealed that 90 per cent of men were oblivious to the disappointments and believed their other half was happy with their gift.
The survey showed that perhaps men and gift shopping do not mix, as 70 per cent of men said they did not have time to do it, 78 per cent did not know what to buy and 94 per cent said they would rather someone else went shopping for them.
Alison Burrell, marketing and sales director at the website, said: "Our research shows that in most cases men don't have the time, the inclination, or they struggle to select an appropriate gift."
