Brad and Angelina miss out on favourite couple top

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie only made it into the number two spot on a list of favourite couples in 2008.

The list, which was drawn up by Foxnews.com, listed High School Musical stars Zac Effron and Vanessa Hudgens as the best pairing of 2008.
The website claimed, however, that the pair's love may only be short lived as post High School Musical their careers may take the couple in different directions.
"So appreciate them now, while their love burns with the heat of a million flashbulbs. Congratulations to our Favourite Couple of 2008", the website stated.
Most of the couples on the list seemed to share the same attribute of being very good looking.
In third place after Hollywood's A-list golden couple was Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry who were followed by singer Gwen Stefani and her rocker husband Gavin Rossdale.
Meanwhile, fifth place was taken up by Naomi Watts and her actor husband Liev Schrieber.
Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and former 'Ally McBeal' star Portia de Rossi also featured in the list.
The couple, who began dating back in 2004, married in August this following the lifting of a ban on same-sex marriages.
