Couple get leap year anniversary
14 November 2007
A young couple have discovered that their chosen wedding day will mean they only get to celebrate their anniversary once every four years.
Emma Biggam and Andrew Pillsley from Evesham have chosen to tie the knot on February 29th next year

.
It was not until their vicar told them that they realised the significance of this leap year day.
Emma said: "Andrew was laughing and saying I'll only get an anniversary card once every four years. We did not realise at the time. It will be quite a novelty.
"I'm really looking forward to it. It is all coming along well."
The pair had planned to get married on March 1st, but this clashed with the groom's rugby commitments, meaning many of his friends would not be able to attend their big day.
They have decided that they will celebrate their anniversary on March 1st on the years when there is no February 29th.
