... Diet tips for bedroom success Diet tips for bedroom success

17 September 2008

An increasing number of Britons have reported feeling too sluggish to make love, according to a new report.

A study reported in the Sun newspaper suggested that around 15 million Britons are dissatisfied with their bedroom antics.

One in three respondents said they were left feeling too bloated to get amorous because they were eating the wrong foods at the wrong times of the day.

But, according to nutrition expert Amanda Ursell from the Fit Squad, there are simple steps to combating bedroom sluggishness.

She told the newspaper: "Everyone feels sexier when they are healthy – so sort out your diet and you'll have a much better time in the bedroom."

She advised cutting down on saturated fats found in some of Britain's best-loved treats, including puddings, biscuits and cakes.

Foods high in salt and starchy products should also be ignored if you want to have a romantic time with your partner.

She added: "Couples should avoid eating late at night because going go to bed on a full stomach means your body is too busy digesting food to contemplate a night of passion."
