Oscar winning actress talks of 'gently' falling in
22 December 2008
Nicole Kidman has described how she and husband Keith Urban were both "lonely" souls when the pair met two years ago.
|
The star was talking to the Independent about her latest film project, Australia, and also spent some time lamenting her past love life and expressing happiness about her current relationship and the daughter she conceived while filming.
Describing her split from first husband Tom Cruise, the Moulin Rouge star sounded philosophical as she mused: "That's the journey of life - we all go through it. You have love, you lose love, you find new love."
She then went on to explain how she 'found' her country music singer husband. She said: "We were two lonely people who went, 'Ah, there you are. We gently fell into each other."
Obviously content, the 41-year-old actress described her daughter as the "biggest gift" to come from her latest film project.
Sunday Rose, who is now five months old, clearly holds an important place in the star's heart as she explained: "I can't bear to be separated from my baby; I'm totally devoted to her".
Kidman and Urban married on June 25th, 2006 at Cardinal Cerretti Memorial Chapel in the grounds of St Patrick's Estate, Manly in Sydney.
