President Sarkozy to divorce

France's president Nicolas Sarkozy is to divorce from his wife of 11 years, Cecilia.

Mrs Sarkozy claimed that she could no longer stay married to her husband because she was in love with another man. She has been in love with Richard Attias, the head of a PR company, since 2005.
Of her marriage to the president, Cecelia said: "I tried everything but we found it impossible to live together any more."
And Nicolas has also strayed, and had a relationship with Anne Fulda, a French political journalist, before trying to win back his wife.
Rumours of problems within their relationship were fuelled when the president's wife did not vote for him in the election.
Before he was elected, Cecelia said: "I don't see myself as a First Lady. That bores me. I'm not politically correct. I potter about in jeans, combat trousers or cowboy boots. I don't fit the mould."
He is the first French president to get divorced.
