Presidential love story

A new documentary will be aired in the UK later this month that tells the story of how Carla Bruni and French president Nicolas Sarkozy fell in love.

The Times reports that the documentary will examine Bruni's romance with Sarkozy and feature some candid interviews with the French first lady.
The fly-on-the-wall documentary will show how the singer was not willing to choose between her job and her love.
In the film she is seen explaining: "I cannot choose between you and my music, it's ridiculous. I’m not going to drop my job and iron my husband’s shirts for the next four years. So of course he didn’t ask me to choose, I decided to keep my job."
Sarkozy later says that he was unaware his love had been a model or that she had dated some famous people in the past.
Bruni was previously romantically linked with Mick Jagger and Eric Clapton.
