Romantic 'honeymoon' lined up for French president

Speculation is rising over the location of French president Nicolas Sarkozy's honeymoon, despite the fact he may not yet be married.

The Italian media have suggested that Sarkozy and former model Carla Bruni, who may have already married, have booked into a small hotel in the Valpolicella.
It is thought the La Magioca hotel that has been booked by Miss Bruni is a converted stone farmhouse, with a chapel in the grounds.
Links between the village of Negrar near Verona and Sarkozy's fondness of Romeo and Juliet have led to further reports of a honeymoon setting.
However, President Sarkozy has been unwilling to reveal details about his romance, answering reports by saying: "When I've got something to say, I'll tell you. So stop looking into my private life."
It has been reported in the French, Italian and British press that the couple were married at the Elysee Palace last week, although neither the president nor his office have confirmed the wedding.
