Trying but failing (really really badly) to learn to play the electric guitar.

Music Enjoyed:

Like a wide variety of music, but particularly like punk and New Wave e.g. The Clash, Ramones, Sex Pistols, The Jam, Joy Division etc. I also have a fondness for Laibach, Mogwai, Bad Brains and weirdly a big fan of Barbara Streisand and Kate Bush.

Sports and exercise:

Pilates (yes, men do it as well), badminton, pool - that's right people, I'm a sporting fanatic.

Interests and activities:

Walking, exploring London and other places, discussing current affairs, reading, going to exhibitions, and I do a bit of (non-celebrity) stargazing every now and again - if you can't be just a little bit curious about the universe and our place in it, then what can you be? I have also just started to research my family history, but so far those famous and wealthy ancestors have eluded me.

Animals and Pets:

Looking after myself on a daily basis is enough of a challenge.

Newspapers and magazines:

Guardian, i, and if I really need to find out what important stuff is happening in the world then it would have to be Hello and any tabloid newspaper.

Books:

Wuthering Heights - Emily Bronte, The Magus - John Fowles, Heroes - John Pilger, Aldous Huxley - Brave New World, anything by Philip K Dick, and if I'm feeling dystopic, then it would be something by JG Ballard.

Favourite Films:

Love a good romantic comedy such as 2001, Citizen Kane, Diva, Star Wars, Taxi Driver, Blade Runner.

Enjoyable evening out:

Art Gallery, Cinema, Meal, Pub, Nightclub, Theatre. If you really like musicals it probably isn't going to work out.

Favourite Dishes:

Mediterranean vegetables and Ricotta wrapped in Filo, Tomato + Mozarella salad

Ideal Holiday:

Driving slowly around Ireland, driving across the US, cycling across the Sahara
