Metaphorically speaking: a green eyed black jaguar - elegant, intelligent and independent.

A romantic pragmatist - bright, kooky and genuine, with a great sense of style(yes, I'm modest like all Armenians). I quite like stepping out of my comfort zone although I'm a little bit accident prone (I've still got a few of my nine lives left)!

Not quite a sportaholic although I enjoy most sports and am willing to give almost anything a try. I love travel and am a visualista: I get great pleasure from looking at paintings (collect cartoon cells and paintings on my travels), beautiful scenary or visits to the theatre (especially corny musicals).

Music Enjoyed:

Jazz, Pop, Reggae, Soft Rock, World Music, Classical, 1920s Jazz, Pop. I hate 80s music although I probably know all the words to the chart topers!

Sports and exercise:

Running & hockey at weekends, scuba diving,(France, Maldives, Egypt [WWII battleships], Mexico [caves], England and Wales), Skiing (since age 8 regularly), Snowboarding, fairweather cyclist to work, swimming and netball occasionally.

Interests and activities:

Travel (love it! [recent safari trip around Southern Africa (learnt how to crash a mokoro), S America (huemul conservation work), lived 10 years in Libya, India(adopted by rickshaw driver)], US etc. I do some voluntary comms work for a Green Spaces Trust in London, I'm a musicals fan: favourite is Les Miserable. I get a kick out of watching cartoons, collect stills & paintings on my travels.

Animals and Pets:

Godmother to 2 dogs - Sooty + Sweep. In Libya had mongrol called Lassie (so original!).

Newspapers and magazines:

Economist, Guardian plus usual light weights when on long journeys or at the hairdressers!

Books:

Best books read recently - The Kite Runner and Mr Vertigo.

Favourite Films:

Some Like It hot, Priceless, Earth. Recently saw "I do" which was hysterical.

Enjoyable evening out:

Different strokes for different folks! With some it will be cinema, others musicals/theatre/art gallery with meal.

Favourite Dishes:

Iranian and Lebanese(home food) is my favourite, but I love curries and chinese too although I can cook these dishes its sometimes much nicer to have it prepared for you!

Ideal Holiday:

Backpacking in the Himalayas, Safari in Africa, Scuba diving in Thailand, Skiing in the alps, Whitewater rafting in the Rockies, I love heat and water, so probably white water rafting. I've just returned from safari trip in Dec 09 where I rafted down Zambezi, it was wildly exhilerating.

In another life:

As a youngster I dreamed of being a starving artist in a garett but I think I'd find it claustrophobic now! If I were an animal I'd be a Brazilian green eyed black jaguar - resilient, beautiful, independent.
