LoveandFriends Limited is a private UK company owned by Gillian McCallum.
Gillian also runs the well-known personal matchmaking agency Drawing Down the Moon founded in the early 1980s.
Love and Friends started life in 1999 in the corner of the Drawing Down the Moon Matchmaking office with Andy Maccabe, using one PC and a book on Internet Programming for Dummies. Andy burned much midnight oil creating LoveAndFriends.com together.
Nowadays, however, we're pleased to say that Andy and Gillian work with the benefit of a team of talented programming and admin staff to maintain the dating sites.
Our mission is to provide nice, friendly dating sites targeting mainly
the "Thinking person" niche. We're for love and friendship not casual
encounters. Unlike many dating sites we don't do "Adult" content nor run
a parallel "Adult" network. (nb Google "Adult dating" if you don't know
what "Adult" dating is). We have had many thousands of
success stories over the years and look forward to many thousands more.
